Notes

  1.  Bits++ has a USB HID interface. Designed to support the native host operating system class driver. Cross platform software support is provided using PsychHID for MATLAB. The Bits++ Desktop for Windows and Configuration Utility of Mac is discontinued: use PsychHID/MATLAB.
  2.  Bits# has a USB CDC ACM virtual serial port interface. Designed to support the native host operating system class driver.
  3.  ColorCAL has a proprietary Konica Minolta USB interface. Only supports KM unsigned, 32-bit driver on 32-bit host operating systems
  4.  ColorCAL MKII has a combined Konica Minolta compatible USB interface and USB CDC ACM virtual serial port. Supports the Konica Minolta unsigned, 32-bit driver on 32-bit host operating systems, and the native host operating system USB CDC class driver. Only one driver can communicate with the device at a time.
  5.  OptiCAL is a native RS-232 serial port device. Works with any host operating system that supports RS-232. Computers that only have USB ports can be supported with third-party RS-232 to USB adapters. CRS software support for VSG2/x and ViSaGe "Gamma Correction" is only available for 32-bit Windows.
  6.  VSG2/2, VSG2/3, VSG2/4 are PC ISA bus cards. Supported on 32-bit Windows XP with VSGv8.2 or earlier.
  7.  VSG2/5 has a PCI interface. Supported on any 32-bit Windows version with VSGv8.2 or later, but will only operate in computers that have Intel Core2Duo or older (slower) classes of CPUs.
  8.  32-bit Windows XP only. Upgrade to ViSaGe MKII with PCI Express graphics for Windows 7 and Windows 8 compatibility, including 64-bit Windows (x64), and on-going technical support.
  9.  32-bit Windows XP only. Upgrade ViSaGe to ViSaGe MKII for Windows 7 and Windows 8 compatibility, including support for 64-bit Windows (x64).
  10.  Supported on all 32-bit Windows versions with VSGv8.2 or later. Support for Windows 7 x64 and Windows 8 x64 requires VSGv8.3 or later.
  11.  LiveTrack FM has a composite USB HID, USB UVC and USB CDC ACM interface. Designed to support the native host operating system class drivers. Cross platform USB HID software support is provided using PsychHID for MATLAB. On Mac OS X, the USB CDC interface is unavailable on this device at the same time as USB UVC due to a deficiency in OS X.
  12.  LiveTrack AV has a composite USB HID, USB UVC and USB CDC ACM interface. Designed to support the native host operating system class drivers. Cross platform USB HID software support is provided using PsychHID for MATLAB. On Mac OS X, if the USB CDC interface is required, then a second unit is necessary to support simultaneous, synchronised use of all three USB class drivers.
  13.  32-bit Windows XP and 32-bit Windows 7 only.
  14.  32-bit Windows XP and 32-bit Windows 7 only.
  15.  SpectroCAL has a Silicon Labs UART USB bridge. OEM hardware provided with unsigned, 32-bit Windows drivers.
  16.  SpectroCAL classic has an FTDI UART USB bridge. OEM hardware provided with a CRS signed driver stack for 32-bit and 64-bit Windows.
  17.  SpectroCAL MKII has an FTDI UART USB bridge. OEM hardware provided with a CRS signed driver stack for 32-bit and 64-bit Windows.
  18.  AudioFile has a USB Audio interface to support bitstreams decoded by a host CODEC. Designed to support the native host operating system class driver.
  19.  Display++ has a USB CDC ACM virtual serial port interface; touchscreen option implemented on USB CDC ACM and USB HID. Designed to support the native host operating system class drivers.
  20.  BlueGain has a Virtual Serial Port interface. Designed to support the native host operating system driver.
